Gutters & Drainage

from $1,250Continuous runs, roll-formed in your driveway

Rain running past a gutter and downspout at the eave of a gray-sided home

In North Texas, gutters are foundation protection first and roof accessory second. Clay soil swells when water pools at the slab and shrinks when it dries, and that cycle is what cracks foundations. A correctly sized gutter system that discharges water several feet away from the house is some of the cheapest structural insurance you can buy.

We roll-form 5-inch and 6-inch continuous gutter on site, in your driveway, to the exact length of each run — one piece, end to end, so there are no mid-run joints to drip and split in five years. Oversized 3x4 downspouts move water off the roof twice as fast as builder-grade 2x3s, which matters when a spring cell drops two inches in forty minutes.

If your lot needs more than downspouts — splash routing, extensions, low-spot drainage advice — we'll flag it during the inspection. And if your existing gutters are fine, that's what the report will say.

Who this is for

Homes with overflowing or sagging gutters, pooling at the slab line, rotted fascia — or any new roof that deserves drainage sized to match.

Gutters — asked and answered

5-inch or 6-inch — how do I know?

It's math, not preference: roof square footage and pitch determine the volume each eave sheds. Steep or large roof planes overwhelm 5-inch gutter in heavy rain. We run the calculation during the inspection and show you the number.

Are leaf guards worth it?

Depends on your trees. Under live oaks that drop leaves and catkins half the year — usually yes. On a treeless new-build lot, usually no. We price guards as a separate line so you're never buying them by default.

Should gutters be replaced with the roof?

Often, yes — tear-off is hard on old gutters, and new drip edge pairs best with new gutter behind it. If yours are sound, we'll protect them during the roof job instead. Either way it's a line item you decide on, not a bundle you're forced into.
